Why we exist?
Even when the point of no return is reached and the state intervenes, the problem isn’t solved. Many of these young people struggle to fit into a foster care environment. They have problems trusting adults. They don’t know how to form relationships. They need professional care, but they also need to feel wanted, to feel safe and to feel loved.
At Don Bosco Care we rebuild the lives of these; the most damaged young people in Ireland and give them a chance to achieve their potential. In our care they receive love, they are respected, and they gain the confidence to grow and to respect themselves.
